Competition Information
We ask that all attendees demonstrate Gracious Professionalism at the event. Event information is available here (subject to change up to the start of Clash in the Corn).
NEW this year is our Sponsors The City of West Des Moines, and the West Des Moines Robotics and Engineering Foundation have graciously covered the costs to host the event this year! We have a goal to double the number of teams we had last year and are waiving all registration fees. In exchange for no registration fees, and for us to continue to receive funding from the City of West Des Moines (in our attempt to make this a long-term/low cost event), we kindly request that you stay at a West Des Moines hotel (optional hotel blocks coming soon) if you choose to book hotels. We are requiring a $250 deposit to secure your spot, that we will refund when you load in at the event and provide us with the number of hotel rooms that your team occupied. Additional robots are free of charge. A maximum of 32 robots will be allowed.
For any questions during the event, look for volunteers wearing their Clash in the Corn Volunteer shirt.
Hotel Blocks
The quotes below are for double queen rooms. Prices do not include tax. We kindly request that you stay at one of these hotels as the City of WDM is sponsoring our event using the hotel/motel tax. This will allow us to keep this event low cost going long-term!
